Our Values

What guides this work

The Getene Vusesu series is built on a specific set of principles. They shape every session, every worksheet, and every decision about what to include and what to leave out.

Evidence-based content

Every concept presented in the series connects to research in psychology or behavioral economics. We don't present opinion as fact, and we distinguish between well-supported findings and emerging hypotheses.

No financial advice

The series is educational, not advisory. We explore psychological patterns and frameworks. We don't tell participants what to do with their money. That distinction matters and we maintain it clearly.

Accessible to non-specialists

Behavioral finance can be dense. Financial psychology can feel clinical. The sessions are designed to translate research into language that is clear without being reductive. You don't need a background in psychology or finance to engage with the material.

Privacy in reflection

The worksheets and discussion spaces are designed to allow genuine reflection without requiring disclosure. Participants engage at the level of depth they choose.

Patterns, not prescriptions

The series identifies patterns that appear across many people's financial lives. It doesn't prescribe a single correct relationship with money. Different people have different contexts, histories, and goals. The material provides frameworks for understanding, not templates for behavior.

The Approach

How the sessions are structured

Each session opens with a concrete scenario. Not a hypothetical about someone else, but a situation that most participants will recognize from their own experience. From there, the session moves into the psychological framework that explains what's happening in that scenario.

The middle section of each session is the most conceptually dense. This is where research findings and behavioral patterns are examined in depth. Questions are encouraged here.

Every session closes with a reflection prompt. Not a homework assignment, but a question worth sitting with. The worksheet that accompanies each session extends that reflection into writing.
